Anna Luiza spent her early development years playing in the highly regarded youth system at São Paulo before transferring to Cruzeiro in early 2022.

She proudly wore the iconic number 10 shirt for Flamengo's Under-20 team, operating as their primary playmaker and creative outlet.

The Copinha title was deeply personal for her and the squad, serving as a powerful redemption story after using the painful heartbreak of losing the Under-20 Brasileirão final earlier that year as fuel.

Despite her immense excitement about turning professional, leaving the youth ranks was an emotional transition, prompting her to promise she would continue attending the girls' matches as a devoted fan in the stands.

She is a massive admirer of veteran teammate Gláucia, affectionately praising her by stating that what she does with the ball at her feet in training is completely "bizarre".
