Nina Costa Garrit

Nina is a highly versatile player who is comfortable operating in the center of the midfield and occasionally pushing forward as an attacker.

She spent time developing her game in the youth setup of Fluminense, making several appearances for their Under-18 squad in 2021 before eventually signing with Flamengo in 2023.

She is a lifelong supporter of Flamengo and described the chance to play for her childhood club as a long-held dream come true.

Her highly anticipated debut for Flamengo's Under-20 team was delayed due to a severe knee injury, which forced her to undergo a long and grueling rehabilitation process.

She credited her deep faith in God and the unwavering support of her family for giving her the mental strength to overcome her injury and return to the pitch.

Before her debut match, she confidently told her family she was going to score, making sure to dedicate the special moment entirely to them when it finally happened.

Following her success at the youth level, she earned her promotion to the senior squad and officially made her top-flight debut in the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino during the 2026 season.
