Luana Ienês Spindler is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward. She has played professionally in Brazil, Spain, China, Hungary, and South Korea during her career.
She said that playing for Grêmio was a childhood dream. “Since I was a child, I always dreamed of wearing this shirt.”
She has spoken openly about the challenges of adapting to football abroad, especially language barriers and different food cultures early in her career.
Luana said that her experiences outside Brazil helped increase her visibility and pushed her to dedicate herself even more professionally.
One of the most memorable moments of her career was the 2019 women’s Gre-Nal final while playing for Internacional. She described it as “an indescribable feeling.”
Luana has played football in at least five different countries: Brazil, Spain, China, Hungary, and South Korea.
She won the Hungarian league title while playing for Ferencváros.
