Giovana dos Santos Marcelino is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward. She has represented Brazil at youth international level, including the Brazil U20 national team.
Her nickname is “Giovaninha.” The nickname is used by Grêmio and the CBF.
She began her football journey in São Paulo’s youth system in 2017 when she was 15 years old.
During her youth career she also spent time at Centro Olímpico before returning to São Paulo.
In 2021 she moved to Spain to join UDG Tenerife, making it her first experience playing abroad.
Giovana has earned multiple call-ups to Brazil’s youth national teams.
She was part of the Brazil squad that won the 2022 CONMEBOL South American Women’s U20 Championship in Chile.
In 2025 she enjoyed her most productive scoring season with Grêmio, finishing the year with 13 goals according to Campo de Elas.
