Yamila Tamara Rodríguez is an Argentine footballer who plays as a forward. She has represented Argentina at senior international level.
She started playing football with Huracán de Posadas before moving to Boca Juniors.
Rodríguez is a lifelong Boca Juniors supporter and said her love for the club came from her mother, who bought her Boca shirts during childhood.
She left her family at a young age to pursue football opportunities with Boca Juniors and the Argentina national team.
Rodríguez has spoken openly about helping her parents financially after becoming a professional footballer. She has bought household appliances for them and regularly returns to Posadas to spend time with family.
One of her tattoos is dedicated to La Bombonera, Boca Juniors’ stadium.
Cristiano Ronaldo is her football idol. Rodríguez has a tattoo of Ronaldo on her leg and has publicly described him as her inspiration.
She also has a tattoo of Diego Maradona. Rodríguez once said: “I have the two best players on my leg.”
Rodríguez played briefly in Spain with Santa Teresa in 2018, but later returned to Argentina because adapting to life in Europe was difficult for her.
