She started playing football through futsal as a child before moving to the outdoor game during her teenage years.
Her first experience on a full-sized football pitch came while playing for Vila Guarani's U17 and U20 teams.
She played for Grêmio, São Bernardo, Portuguesa, Botafogo, Fluminense, JC Futebol Clube and Ceará.
When Grêmio announced her signing in 2024, the club highlighted her passing ability, vision, speed and focus among her key qualities.
Bia Santos helped Grêmio win the 2024 Brasil Ladies Cup, adding another trophy to her career after spells in Brazil and Israel.
