Valéria Paula de Lima is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward. She began her career in Acre and has played in Brazil and Portugal during her professional career.
Before joining Grêmio, she spent part of her career playing in Portugal with Torreense, Atlético Ouriense and Länk Vilaverdense.
She said leaving Acre to pursue football professionally was not easy, but described the obstacles she faced as “trophies” that helped shape her career.
Valéria scored a volley goal against Internacional during the 2025 Campeonato Gaúcho Feminino campaign.
She helped Botafogo win the Campeonato Carioca Feminino in 2022 and scored in one of the final matches against Flamengo.
In 2025, she was honoured by the Federação de Futebol do Acre for representing the state at national level.
Valéria joked in an interview that she could not spend the whole holiday “just eating tacacá,” a traditional dish from northern Brazil, because she needed to keep training.
