Aline Gomes Amaro, known as Aline Gomes or just Aline, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for the National Women's Soccer League club North Carolina Courage.
She was 15 when she joined Ferroviária’s youth setup in 2020.
She made her professional debut at 15, coming on as a substitute against Flamengo.
At 16 years old, she became the youngest player to score for Ferroviária in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A1.
She was born in Tabatinga, São Paulo.
She scored the goal that sealed Brazil’s 2-0 victory over Paraguay to win the CONMEBOL Women's Under-19 Evolution League in 2023.
In 2023, she had a breakout season, scoring nine goals in just 13 games.
She became one of the youngest Brazilian players to transfer to the NWSL.
Her rapid rise in Brazilian football has made her a role model for young players.
