Andrea Pereira Cejudo is a Spanish footballer who plays as a defender. She represented Spain at youth and senior level.
She has lived with type 1 diabetes since she was 12.
She wrote the book Una vida con diabetes to give children with diabetes the kind of real-life reference she felt was missing when she was younger.
Before football took over, she practiced gymnastics as a child.
Her mother used to tell her she would become “the lawyer for the poor,” and that idea stayed with her long enough for her to study law after completing a business degree.
