She started playing football in the street with her uncles and relatives when she was a child.

Before reaching professional football, she took part in social football projects in Cabo Frio, Rio de Janeiro.

In an interview with ge.globo, Tainá said she first became interested in football simply by watching matches and dreaming about becoming a player herself.

Tainá said she “put God first” while pursuing her football career through difficult moments with support from her family.

She joined the senior squad at Fortaleza Esporte Clube at the age of 16.

During the 2025 season, she scored the winning goal in the Copa Maria Bonita final for Fortaleza.

After scoring in the Copa Maria Bonita final shortly after receiving a Brazil U20 call-up, Tainá described it as a “perfect week.”
