Luana Sartório Menegardo is a Brazilian defender who represents Brazil at club level and has featured in Brazil’s women’s Série A1 with Ferroviária.
She joined Ferroviária’s youth academy in 2014 after a trial period.
Luana has spent almost her entire senior career with Ferroviária and said in a 2023 interview: “Everything I achieved was here.”
She became one of Ferroviária’s captains during her time with the club.
Luana played with Brazil’s U20 national team squads at the 2016 and 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cups.
She won the 2018 South American U-20 Women’s Championship with Brazil.
ESPN described her as a club icon during its coverage of the Bola de Prata awards.
