She has played football professionally in both Brazil and Turkey during her career.
Mariana joined Turkish club Beşiktaş during the 2021–22 season and also appeared in UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifying matches.
Before joining Ferroviária, she played for clubs including Vasco da Gama, Ponte Preta, Cruzeiro and São Paulo.
Mariana scored 10 league goals for Ponte Preta during the 2019 season.
She renewed her contract with Cruzeiro before moving on loan to BeĹźiktaĹź.
Mariana described scoring her first goal for Ferroviária as “very special” in an interview during the 2025 Brasileirão Feminino season.
