Maressa Luara de Carvalho is a Brazilian midfielder who has played in Brazil’s top-flight women’s football system, including participation in the Brasileirão Feminino Série A1, and has competed at senior club level in Brazil.
Maressa started playing football on the streets with boys in her neighbourhood in São Bernardo do Campo before joining organised football.
She began her structured football career at São Bernardo before moving into youth football with Centro Olímpico, one of Brazil’s key women’s development clubs.
She made her early senior steps at Centro Olímpico, where she first broke into professional football in the Brazilian system.
In 2016, she played for Foz Cataratas, continuing her rise through Brazil’s domestic women’s league structure.
At Ponte Preta, she had one of her more productive early spells, scoring 8 goals in 34 appearances.
She joined Palmeiras in 2019, where she was part of the squad that won the Copa Paulista Feminina in 2019.
While at São Paulo, she was part of the team that won the Brasil Ladies Cup in 2021.
She also won the Supercopa do Brasil Feminina in 2025 with São Paulo.
She signed for Ferroviária in January 2026 as part of the club’s squad rebuild for the new season.
