Amanda Coimbra is a Brazilian goalkeeper who represents Brazil at youth and club level and has played in Brazilian domestic competitions, including for Ferroviária in the top-tier women’s league.
She spent time in the youth systems of Corinthians and Inter de Limeira before joining Atlético Mineiro’s academy in 2019.
Amanda signed her first professional promotion with Atlético Mineiro’s senior side in September 2020.
She represented Brazil at the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, where Brazil finished third.
Amanda worked with Ferroviária head coach Jéssica de Lima during her time with Brazil’s U20 national team staff.
She described Ferroviária as “a great power in Brazilian women’s football” after joining the club in 2025.
Before joining Ferroviária, she played for Fluminense and helped the club earn promotion to the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino Série A1.
Amanda became the first Fluminense women’s player to receive a senior Brazil national-team call-up in 2024.
Amanda said it was “a privilege” to play for Ferroviária because of the club’s importance in Brazilian women’s football.
She is known for being comfortable playing with the ball at her feet as well as for her goalkeeping.
