Monalisa Reis Carvalho Belém, commonly known as Monalisa, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a right-back. She has represented Brazil at the youth international level.
She began her football journey playing for Estrela Real, a local women's football club based in her state's capital city of Palmas.
Early in her professional career, she moved to the Amazon region to play for Iranduba, where her standout performances eventually earned her a call-up to the Brazilian Under-20 National Team.
By winning the 2020 Copa Libertadores Femenina with Ferroviária, she achieved a massive historic milestone by becoming the first athlete from Tocantins—male or female—to ever win the prestigious continental tournament.
She is known for her precise deliveries into the box, notably providing a perfect cross from the left flank to assist a headed goal in a commanding 4-2 victory over Red Bull Bragantino in 2026.
She is widely recognized as a highly balanced full-back, praised by her club for attacking and defending with the exact same level of intensity.
