Did You Know?

Born in Xambrê, Paraná, Thaisa spent part of her early career in the United States, playing college soccer for the Feather River Golden Eagles and the FIU Panthers.

Her junior college stint at Feather River ended with an incredible 69 goals and 27 assists, directly leading to her highly anticipated transfer to Florida International University.

She broke FIU's program record for most wins in a single season by scoring a game-winning penalty kick against the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2009.

She made history in Italy by becoming the very first Brazilian player ever signed by AC Milan's women's team.

In the 2018-19 Italian Serie A season, she scored an unforgettable rocket from a distance during a 3-0 victory against Juventus, which was officially crowned the Goal of the Season.

She won a gold medal with the Brazilian National Team at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, describing the experience of listening to the national anthem with her teammates on the podium as one of her greatest moments.
