Brena Carolina Vianna de Oliveira is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a midfielder. She has represented Brazil at youth international level.
She only joined organized women's football at 15 years old, when Vasco da Gama recruited her into its academy. Before that, all of her football development came through local football schools and mixed training sessions with boys.
A serious knee injury in 2020 sidelined her for several months, but she returned to become one of Santos' leaders and eventually wore the captain's armband.
One of Brena's biggest sporting idols is Neymar. She even has two tattoos dedicated to him: the "NJR LOVE" logo on her leg and Neymar's autograph on her arm, which she received during his visit to Santos in 2023.
Brena married fellow professional footballer Reina Bonta in January 2025. Brena proposed to Reina in a secluded mountain cabin in Brazil. She later joked that she was so nervous she accidentally threw the ring box across the room after taking out the ring.
When leaving Santos in 2023, Brena used her farewell message not only to thank the club but also to call for greater investment and better conditions for the women's team, saying she hoped future generations would benefit from improvements.
