Ravena de Jesus Silva is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper.
She started playing football in Projeto Veneza, where she trained and competed exclusively with boys.
Her switch to goal happened by chance when her team was missing a goalkeeper for a friendly match at Flamengo's waterfront training area. She volunteered to go in goal and never left the position.
When Palmeiras approached her in 2024, she described joining the club as a challenge she "didn't think twice" about accepting.
Ravena's performances for Fluminense earned her a call-up to the Brazil U20 national team in 2021, where she trained for the South American Championship and took part in preparation matches against Mexico.
She left her home state of Piauí at a young age and continued her football development more than 2,000 km away in Rio de Janeiro.
