Ana María Guzmán Zapata is a Colombian footballer who plays as a defender. She has represented Colombia at youth and senior international level.
A 2025 loan spell took her from Bayern Munich to Utah Royals in the NWSL, and after five appearances in the United States she continued her development with another loan move to Brazilian side Palmeiras.
Shortly after moving to Germany on her own as a teenager, she suffered a serious knee injury that kept her out for almost a year. She later described the experience as one of the most difficult periods of her life.
Coaches and journalists have repeatedly highlighted her composure, maturity and confidence despite making her senior international breakthrough as a teenager.
After joining Bayern, she announced the creation of the Mona Guzmán Foundation, an initiative aimed at helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds access English-language education.
Despite becoming one of Colombia's biggest young football talents, she has repeatedly described herself as naturally shy and uncomfortable with constant attention from cameras and media.
