Carla Maria da Silva is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. She has represented Brazil at youth international level.
Her mother is one of the strongest influences in her life and regularly gives her advice that she now passes on to younger players.
In September 2024, she became nationally known for saving all three opposition penalties in a shootout against Ferroviária during the Brasileirão Feminino semifinals.
Carlinha is studying Journalism while playing professional football and has spoken about wanting to become a sports commentator after her playing career. She specifically mentioned following the NBA and NFL closely and would love to commentate on those sports as well.
She reached the milestone of 200 matches for São Paulo Women in 2025.
