Beatriz Ferreira de Menezes is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a defender and midfielder. She has represented Brazil at U20 and senior international level.
Her versatility allows her to play both as a left back and as a midfielder.
Her mother was the first person to fully believe in her football dream, buying her boots and equipment when few others did. Losing her mother in 2021 was so devastating that Bia seriously considered quitting football altogether.
Bia Menezes missed the end of São Paulo's 2025 campaign after tearing ligaments in her ankle during the Libertadores Feminina, an injury that required surgery and months of rehabilitation before her return to training.
Bia's first footballs were actually doll heads - she used to pull the heads off her dolls and kick them around the house because she loved football so much.
Sports psychology became a turning point in her career, helping her rebuild confidence and learn how to handle pressure on and off the pitch.
