Bruna Rafagnin Calderan is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a defender. She has represented Brazil at both U20 and senior international level.
Calderan grew up in Sananduva in southern Brazil and started out playing futsal as the only girl regularly sharing the court with boys.
She won the South American U20 Championship with Brazil before making her senior national-team debut.
Calderan participated in Palmeiras Feminino's “Adotar é tudo de bom” campaign supporting pet adoption awareness.
Representing Brazil was a childhood dream, and she described her senior national-team debut as one of the happiest days of her life because her parents were in the stands watching her play for Brazil.
One of the themes she has mentioned when discussing difficult moments in football is relying on personal "amulets" and sources of faith or motivation to keep moving forward.
