Haley Bugeja is a Maltese footballer who plays as a forward. She has represented Malta at both youth and senior international level.
Haley Bugeja was born in Pietà, Malta, and made her debut in the Maltese top flight at just 14 years old.
She began playing football around the age of five and initially trained with boys because there were no girls' teams available for her age group.
Liverpool was the club she grew up supporting because her family were Liverpool fans.
She played professionally in both Italy and the United States with Orlando Pride in the NWSL.
She won Malta's top women's football player award in back-to-back seasons before turning 17.
Goal ranked her third in its NXGN women's list of the world's top young talents in 2022.
By the age of 21, she had already played club football in three different countries: Malta, Italy and the United States.
