Benedetta Glionna is an Italian footballer who plays as a forward. She has represented Italy women's national football team at youth and senior international level.
Glionna was born in Naples and joined Fiammamonza’s youth system when she was 12 years old.
She was already playing first-team football at the age of 14.
Her first call-up to the Italian senior national team is one of the career moments she has highlighted as especially memorable.
Winning her first Serie A title with Juventus ranks among her favorite football memories.
After loan spells with Verona and Empoli, she described those experiences as important opportunities to play regularly and gain experience.
She scored Roma Women’s first-ever UEFA Women’s Champions League goals against Glasgow City in August 2022.
She was part of Italy’s squad for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
