Josefine Valvik Laursen

She started playing football at her local childhood club, SHI, before moving into academy football.

She joined the youth setup at Fortuna Hjørring when she was eight years old.

She made her official senior debut for Fortuna Hjørring's first team in the Danish top flight at just 16 years of age. Her first-team debut fulfilled a childhood dream, and she described being both happy and proud after finally reaching Fortuna's senior side.

After a hamstring injury in 2025, she marked her return to the scoresheet in the final match of Fortuna's 2025/26 league campaign, scoring the winning goal against FC Nordsjælland in a match that secured third place. That bronze finish also meant European football for Fortuna, something she said she was looking forward to.

Josefine has represented Denmark at youth international level.
