Did You Know?

Spaghetti bolognese was a firm favourite in Denmark's U19 squad. In a first-person team diary co-written by Sarah, she described the pre-match “match meal” of spaghetti with meat sauce as something the players loved.

She was selected in Denmark's squad for the UEFA Women's EURO 2017 in the Netherlands.

Her football journey took her from Danish football to Norway, where she played for both Rosenborg and Kolbotn, before returning to Denmark with AGF in January 2023.

Sarah Dyrehauge scored 15 goals in 22 appearances for Denmark U17, making her the second-highest scorer listed in DBU's historical U17 records.

She experienced a rather unusual football problem at AGF: javelin throwers on the training pitch. Sarah recalled sitting around the stadium pitch when a school PE class started throwing javelins on the field.

After finishing school in 2017, she planned to give football her full focus for at least a year. At the time, she described Fortuna's individual training environment as an important opportunity for her development.

Sarah enjoys playing tennis.
