Kimberly Vanessa Rodríguez Cubero is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a centre-back. Born in the United States, she represents Mexico at senior international level.
She grew up in Porter, Texas, and attended Porter High School before college.
She became one of the top assist providers in Oklahoma State history, ranking third all-time for the program.
She made her senior debut for Mexico in February 2019 at the Cyprus Women’s Cup against Italy.
Basketball was part of her school sporting life too.
She graduated from Oklahoma State in May 2021 with a degree in applied exercise science and strength & conditioning.
She did not love football at first, mostly because playing outside in Texas heat felt brutal.
