Angelique Montserrat Saldivar Pavón is a Mexican footballer who plays as a midfielder and has represented Mexico at U-17, U-20 and senior level.
She started playing football in Cancún after her sister joined the sport first.
Her family supported Chivas, but she still chose América.
She moved to Mexico City at 13 to begin training with América’s first team.
Before fully choosing football, she also practiced taekwondo.
She joined América from the club’s Sub-17 setup and made her senior debut at 14, which made her the youngest player to debut for América Femenil at the time.
One of her biggest long-term dreams is to play abroad. She has also imagined sharing a club one day with her close friend Alice Soto, and named Real Madrid as the destination she would love for that scenario.
