Maria developed through the Pomigliano youth system before joining Napoli Women U19, where she continued her development as a goalkeeper.
At 19 years old, she is one of the youngest members of Napoli Women's senior squad for the 2026–27 season.
She was promoted from Napoli Women's Primavera squad into the first-team goalkeeper group, training alongside experienced goalkeepers Beatrice Beretta, Freja Thisgaard and Sarah Hornschuch.
