Tecla Pettenuzzo

She began playing football with Due Monti, a small club near her hometown of Vicenza, before moving to Padova as a teenager.

Tecla made her Serie B debut at just 14 years old, an exceptionally early start to senior football. She later admitted she never imagined the career that would follow.

After joining Brescia in 2017, she immediately experienced European football, although she later admitted she was so young that she didn't fully realise how big the step was.

During her time with Roma, she won both the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup, adding two major trophies to her career.

She earned her first senior Italy cap in 2021 against Iceland, fulfilling a dream after progressing through the youth national teams.

Tecla has said she is trying to adopt the famous Neapolitan outlook on life, because she finds the local mentality positive, welcoming and refreshing.

Away from football, Tecla describes herself as a cheerful person who enjoys two very different things: the peace and quiet of nature and evenings spent with friends listening to music.

Tecla loves spending time in and around the water, trying different activities.
