Up to the age of eleven, Nüsken was considered the best German tennis player of her year, before she concentrated on football

Her older sister Hjördis was also a junior international

Chasing a trophy the Blues last won three seasons ago, a much-changed side never looked in danger in the second of four consecutive games at Kingsmeadow.
