Svea Stoldt is a German professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Frauen-Bundesliga club Hamburger SV.
She started playing football at age 6, tagging along to her friend’s training - a choice she made instead of going home. That moment started her football journey.
Early on, she played in teams with boys; she remembers being teased (“why is a girl playing with us?”) but ignored it and eventually earned respect by performance.
She has said that HSV feels like “family”, and that she has been a fan of the club “since she can remember”. Playing for them is especially meaningful.
Svea made her senior debut at only 15, scoring her first goal in the same match.
She played a key role in back-to-back promotions - first to the 2. Bundesliga, then to the Frauen-Bundesliga in 2025.
She scored in the U17 European Championship final against Spain - helping Germany win the title in 2022!
Her father is a lifelong HSV fan, and Svea grew up watching every match.
She would like to study Sports Science.
She made her Germany debut at 14 with the U15 national team — calling it the “craziest feeling” of her life.
In 2022, she was named “Youth Player of the Year” by the Hamburg Football Association.
