Laura Sieger is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Frauen-Bundesliga club Hamburger SV.
In 2016, she suffered her first major setback when she tore her ACL while playing for 1. FC Köln.
In 2024, she moved abroad for the first time to play for SKN St. Pölten in Austria, where she won the Austrian championship.
She returned to Germany in 2025 to join Hamburger SV, but unfortunately tore her ACL again in only her second league match.
She was only 16 years old when she made her first appearances in the 2. Bundesliga with Köln’s senior team.
She used to play handball because her mother played handball too. Later, she decided to switch to football.
Her least favorite training exercise is running.
