Mia Büchele is a German professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Frauen-Bundesliga club Hamburger SV.
As a kid, she played in a boys’ team at SSV Ulm 1846.
She joined SC Freiburg’s youth academy in 2018 and made her Bundesliga debut at just 16.
In 2024, she joined Hamburger SV, helping the team earn promotion to the Bundesliga and reach the DFB-Pokal semifinal.
She’s been studying Sport Management via distance learning, balancing studies and football perfectly.
Her loan to Basel ended with a twist — she injured her foot in the final match of the season, turning her planned vacation into a hospital stay and months of rehab.
In parallel to her football career, Mia completed a year of community service at SC Freiburg, working with kids in schools and sports programs.
Her biggest role model growing up was Joshua Kimmich.
Her ultimate dream: playing for FC Barcelona and one day helping Germany win the World Cup.
She likes to spend her days off relaxing and hanging out with friends.
