Leonie Sophie Köster is a German footballer who plays as a midfielder for 1. FC Union Berlin in the Frauen-Bundesliga.
As a child, she liked to watch "the Wild Guys". "There was a girl called Vanessa and I wanted to be like her," says Köster.
Leonie began playing football at a young age with boys after school. She was called up for the national team at the under-15 level, which inspired her to pursue a professional career.
Apart from being a pro footballer, she also studies at the university.
