Katja Orschmann is a German footballer who plays as a defender for 1. FC Union Berlin in the Frauen-Bundesliga.
Began in the youth of SFC Stern 1900 together with her twin sister Dina Orschmann, then joined 1. FC Union Berlin’s youth set-up (rise to the first team in 2014).
Katja spent time playing college soccer in the United States with the Lynn University/Lynn Fighting Knights in 2022.
Katja and her sister Dina played together for WU20 Germany national team and as for 2025 both of them are representing 1. FC Union Berlin together.
She speaks both German and English.
Katja and Dina once celebrated their graduation ball in the stadium An der Alten Försterei.
During her free time she travels a lot, she especially had a great time on Madeira island.
Katja had a couple of collaborations and did a couple of shoots with Adidas Germany.
She loves surfing.
Katja is passionate about photography.
She enjoys both sunny days and sunsets as well as snowy weather.
