Jonna Wrede is a German professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Frauen-Bundesliga club Hamburger SV.
Born and raised in Hamburg, she’s a true local talent playing for her hometown club.
She started playing football at age five for her hometown club Altona 93 in Hamburg.
She has played for years in boys’ teams, believing that training with boys makes her faster, tougher, and technically sharper.
She also plays regularly for HSV’s U20 team in the Regionalliga to gain more match experience.
She suffered ACL tear during training in 2025.
She made her national team debut at just 14, stepping onto the pitch for Germany’s U15 team against Belgium.
