Theresa Stephanie Boade is an American professional football player who plays as a midfielder for Bay FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
Though born in Dallas, Boade was raised in Golden, Colorado.
In high school, she competed in football, basketball, and track.
Her sister, Meg, also plays professionally in the NWSL for the Washington Spirit.
She joined the U.S. U-17 national team for friendlies in 2014 at just 15 years old.
Her best football memory is playing 3v3 football in 5th grade with her team, the Limabeans.
Her favorite football players are Lionel Messi, Andrés Iniesta, and Kevin De Bruyne.
When she was 18, Tess went backpacking in Nepal.
She loves all kinds of food and says she loves eating just as much as she loves playing football.
She started playing football when she was just three years old.
Her favorite athlete growing up was Steph Curry.
She plays both piano and guitar as hidden talents.
