Sweden’s team doctor, Houman Ebrahimi, confirmed that Fridolina Rolfö is recovering from ligament damage in her left foot and is currently following an individualized recovery program with the national team.
Although her overall prognosis suggests she might still play in the tournament, the doctor indicated it is “not likely” she will participate in Sweden’s opening match against Denmark.
