Jordyn Nishai Bugg is an American professional soccer player who plays as a center back for Seattle Reign FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
She trained with NWSL team San Diego Wave FC during her junior and senior years of high school, learning from center backs Naomi Girma and Abby Dahlkemper.
She represented the United States at various youth levels, including U-16, U-17, U-19, and U-20, earning bronze medals at the 2023 Pan American Games and the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
She comes from a sports-oriented family; her father, Patrick, played college football at Eastern Kentucky University, and her mother, Tam, played college basketball at the same institution.
She is the oldest of five children.
She played for San Diego Surf, a youth club that shares a training site with the San Diego Wave.
Naomi Girma is Bugg’s biggest inspiration both as a player and a person.
