Nérilia Mondésir is a Haitian professional footballer who plays as a forward for National Women's Soccer League club Seattle Reign and the Haiti national team.
She is commonly known by her nickname Nérigol.
She started her career at Tigresses FC in Haiti before moving to France.
She is the first Haitian-born player in NWSL history and first Haitian-born player to score a goal in the league history.
She has captained Haiti for several years at various levels, including Haiti’s first-ever appearance in a FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023.
She began playing football at age 6 in her village of Grand Pré.
She initially pursued judo and joined the École Nationale des Talents Sportifs (ENTS) in 2011. After not being selected for a national judo team, she returned to football, impressing the Haitian Football Federation.
She is the youngest of five children.
She won the Golden Boot (top scorer) at three different youth tournaments: Concacaf U15 (2014), Caribbean U17 (2015), and Concacaf U17 (2016).
She’s a three-time Haitian league champion with AS Tigresses (2014–2016).
