Carissa Xenia Miller is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) club Seattle Reign.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida State University.
Instead of entering the 2018 NWSL College Draft, she chose to pursue her professional career in Europe.
Internationally, Carissa was part of the U.S. U-17 national team that won the 2012 CONCACAF Championship and later played in the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
Passionate about developing young talent, she offers private goalkeeping lessons and online coaching.
She chose the Nick of Time Foundation as her community partner with Seattle Reign FC due to her personal experience with heart complications and surgeries, supporting their mission to prevent sudden cardiac arrest in young athletes through early detection, education, and CPR training.
Her biggest inspiration is her family, especially her mom and brother.
She married her partner Taylor in 2024.
