Laurine Hannequin is a French attacking midfielder for RC Strasbourg Alsace in the Arkema Première Ligue and a France youth international currently involved with the France U23s.
She scored against Dijon to become the first player ever to score a goal for RC Strasbourg Alsace in Arkema Première Ligue, curling the ball into the far corner.
Away from the pitch, she obtained a professional fitness-instructor diploma, giving her a formal qualification in physical training alongside her football career.
As an escape from football, she loves to bake and even enrolled in a distance-learning Patisserie course.
The idea of becoming a pastry chef came from watching the TV show Le Meilleur Pâtissier around Christmas, when she realised how much she enjoyed trying her own desserts at home.
As a youngster she captained France U16 and lifted the trophy at the inaugural Montaigu girls’ tournament, effectively the first “World Cup” for that age group.
Early in her Racing career she tore the ACL in her left knee.
