Siren was born in Helsinki, Finland, and her full name is Emmi Sofia Siren.
She began her senior career at Tikkurilan Palloseura (TiPS), where she played over 100 matches before her 21st birthday.
Siren has a twin sister, Oona Siren, who is also a professional footballer and plays for West Ham United in the WSL.
Emmi played in the UEFA Women's Champions League with KuPS, making her debut in the competition during the 2022/2023 qualifying rounds.
During her time with Kuopion Palloseura (KuPS), she helped the team secure two consecutive Finnish championship titles in 2022 and 2023.
She spent the 2024/2025 season in Denmark with FC Nordsjælland, winning a domestic league and cup double.
