Élise Bonet is a French centre-back for RC Strasbourg Alsace in France’s Arkema Première Ligue, having previously played top-flight and second-tier football for Rodez AF, Dijon FCO, AS Saint-Étienne and FC Nantes. She is a former French youth international who represented France at U16, U17, U19 and U20 level.
She wakes up at 7:00 a.m. and immediately has breakfast, usually something consistent like eggs, muffins, yogurt, oats, and fruit.
In the afternoon after practice, she has a chill period: taking classes, doing home improvements, painting, or relaxing.
She is a huge fan of pizza—except pizza with pineapple, which she refuses to accept.
She tried karate, gymnastics, swimming, and canoeing before committing to football.
She became the first girl ever accepted into Évian Thonon Gaillard’s boys’ academy.
If she could eat anything daily as an athlete, she’d choose pasta with sauce.
She loves traveling, especially to the Algarve, Mauritius, and dreams of Zanzibar and the Maldives.
