Agathe Felden is a French centre-back for Montpellier HSC in France’s Arkema Première Ligue and a youth international for France.
Football started at home: she first played in the family garden with her cousins, her father and her grandfather before taking a first license around age 10 with a local club.
Like many young players, she initially played in mixed teams with boys.
She is the granddaughter of Alain Felden, a well-known coach in the Vienne district who has managed clubs such as Stade Poitevin FC and ES Nouaillé.
She studies Sports Science alongside her professional career and has spoken about possibly becoming a physical education teacher in the future.
She helped Montpellier’s reserve team earn promotion to D3 in spring 2024.
