Célia Chabod is a French footballer who plays as a forward for Montpellier HSC in France’s D1 Arkema and has represented France at the U19 international level.
She only started playing football at age 14 – after six years as a track athlete – inspired by watching her older brother Maxime play for their local club.
In her first U15 season, she scored an astonishing 82 goals in 11 matches for Triangle d’Or Jura Foot, her youth club in eastern France.
She comes from a farming family and has Central African heritage through her parents.
She cites French winger Delphine Cascarino as a major inspiration, and also admires England star Lauren James’ style of play.
Her go-to music is R&B and U.S. rap.
Off the pitch, she enjoys shopping – especially shoes.
