Elise Jean is a French defender for Montpellier HSC in the French Division 1 Féminine and a youth international who has represented France at U17 level and been called into the U19s.
She joined Avenir Sportif Sud Ardèche Football in October 2013 and stayed there until July 2023, spending almost a decade developing in her local club structure before moving to Montpellier.
She represented France at the 2024 UEFA Women’s U17 finals in Sweden.
Her main role models are Wendie Renard in women’s football and Virgil van Dijk in men’s football.
She grew up playing football in the school playground during recess.
Her grandfather also played football and inspired her love for the game.
Outside football, she enjoys basketball.
She also likes baking pastries in her free time.
