Lucie Calba is a French forward from Metz who plays for FC Nantes in the French Première Ligue, after previous senior spells with FC Metz and Stade de Reims. A French youth international, she has represented France at U17 and U19 level, including UEFA Women’s European Championship campaigns.
She started playing football at just five years old with local club ES Béchy before joining FC Metz’s youth academy in 2015.
She scored the opening goal in Nantes’ 3–1 home win over Paris FC at La Beaujoire, becoming the first woman to score for FC Nantes at the main club stadium.
She scored after just 17 seconds against Northern Ireland in Euro U19 qualifying, reported as the fastest goal in the history of the France women’s U19 team.
She was already on the radar as a teenager, winning U17 EURO bronze with France.
