Sofie Lundgaard is a Danish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Women's Super League club Liverpool and has appeared for the Denmark women's national junior team.
In 2024, she got her first call-up for Denmark senior team which was a proud moment for her.
She made her top division debut aged 17 in Denmark and has played more than 100 senior games.
She was glad for other Danish players who live at Liverpool for helping her feel more like at home. She often spends time with her teammate from national team Kathrine Møller Kühl.
Lundgaard said the pace, intensity, and fan pressure in the Women's Super League are much greater than in Denmark, but she enjoys the experience​.
